DIVERSITY
The Women in Safety Awards were created to celebrate the incredible work women are doing in their roles to create change in health and safety. This year we are dedicated to sharing beautiful stories, inspiring successes and a collective acknowledgement of the work we are all doing to help workplaces be safer than they were yesterday.

The Awards will be presented during an afternoon on Thursday 27 November 2023 at International Convention Centre, Sydney. Tickets will be available for purchase in August 2023.

Wondering who you should nominate?
Personal Success
If we don't stop to celebrate the wins, who will? Don't just roll out the red carpet in your performance review, your success should be reflected upon and celebrated!
You can't be what you can't see
You have the opportunity to show others that we all have our own journey in health, safety and wellbeing and encourage others to pursue a career in this field.
Your Personal Brand
Let the world see your achievements, and shine bright! Whether nominated, a finalist or a winner, celebrating will show the world you are making waves in health and safety!
FAQs
I reside outside the Asia Pacific (APAC) Region. Am I eligible to nominate someone?
Of course! Geography shouldn't limit recognition. If the woman you're nominating is making waves in the safety sector within the APAC region, she is absolutely eligible. Just note, the nominee should live or work within the APAC region to qualify for the award.
I am male. Can I put forward a nomination?
Absolutely! While these awards are dedicated to recognizing and celebrating the achievements of women and those who identify as women, we wholeheartedly welcome nominations from male allies who champion and support women's accomplishments in the safety sector.
If I am a finalist, do I have to attend the awards ceremony in person?
Being a finalist is an exceptional honor, and we'd love for you to be present at the ceremony, especially since it's taking place alongside the prestigious World Congress for Health and Safety. However, we understand everyone has unique circumstances. If you can't attend in person, feel free to nominate a representative to attend on your behalf. Should that not be an option, don't worry — we'll promptly get in touch post-event to update you on the results!
