Julia Kunlo Promoted to Vice President of Evolution Safety Resources

Evolution Safety Resources (ESR), a safety consultation firm based in Raleigh, has promoted Julia Kunlo to the role of Vice President. Working as the Director of Client Relations since ESR’s inception last year, Julia was instrumental in establishing the start-up company in the Carolina markets while expanding services across the United States and internationally. As a 26-year-old, Julia credits her early success to a combination of strategic risk taking, valuable mentorships, a focus on professional development, and exceptionally hard work.
“When the opportunity to help found and develop a start-up company was presented to me, I did not hesitate,” notes Julia. “Within three months of accepting the offer, I had sold my home in Maryland and moved my life to North Carolina. The following months were filled with rapid professional development – I became a Certified Safety Professional (CSP), earned my Advance Safety Certificate (ASC), began instructing National Safety Council ASC courses, and started a Master’s Program in Occupational Safety and Health. It took a lot of sacrifice, but I truly enjoyed each step because I love what I do.”
Tim Neubauer, the President of Evolution Safety Resources, shared that Julia was the first person he called when discussions for ESR began. “We are thrilled to have someone of Julia’s expertise and caliber for this position. A graduate of James Madison University, Julia began her career with a steel, precast, and tilt-up erector servicing the D.C. Metro area. Though her original position was within the production department, she was eventually tasked with quality and eventually safety management. In the last role, Julia found her passion.
